When Should You Quit Your Job or Resign

Yes. We have all been there. When shall we quit our job? We have gone to a phase where we land on a crappy job and we should know when is enough is enough. So before we do that let us assess ourselves if we are ready to quit our job.

1. Consider your decision because one bad day must not impact our decision. You should not risk yourself and decide from a temporary emotion to a permanent decision. So before you quit your job, first, you must clear your mind first. Consider your options: your age, your finances, your opportunities and how hard finding a new job versus keeping this one.

2. Consider your Finances because with today's economy, we cannot afford being poor. Do you have a six months emergency fund to support you with your finances like bills, rent and food expenses? If no, then hold your horses there and keep calm.

3. Consider you Options. What are you planning to do next? Where will you end up? Where will you apply? The chances of you getting hired again. Are you capable of going through the road of depression when you can't find a new job? Are you willing to take the risk of being criticized by the people around you when you become jobless?

4. Consider the what you will Lose and what you might gain in the long run. Are they worth it?

The above guidelines are in a question form because we are dealing on unique circumstances that every answer may either make or break us so depending on your answers, I know you can make the right decisions and never look back and strivingly move on with your life. No regrets.
