Road to Financial Freedom

Money may not be key to happiness, it's surely is one of the pavements to a brighter and a happier future. Considering that everything today is and can only obtain by having such amount of money. Even that fresh cool air that was free yesterday was now fancy due to pollution and air conditioning or that clean water is now bought on a bottle. Money is really an essential for living today and most certainly we don't just want work, pay bills and die. Wouldn't we?

So here are the basic surefire money tips that I can guarantee will make a change to your lifestyle and your money habits.

1. Earn as much as you can. This means having more than one income generating option other than your job. Having a job may give you the fulfillment to pay bills and buy you the necessities you need but are you really financially capable when you get fired or get sick? Well I think we both know the answer to that and it is a big NO. And no I don't mean having two jobs, but if you really can then why not? But my point is, you should start having a passive income too. One of the basic passive income is your saving accounts interest, your investment portfolio like stocks and bonds or you can have an income generating business.

2. Spend below your paycheck. It is okay to treat ourselves once or twice but spending above your daily paycheck is not a good idea. Spend below your daily paycheck as less as possible so you won't end up on a pile of debt and payables. And one more thing, spend only by cash for by cash you can only realize the true value of the amount you are spending and avoid credit cards as much as possible or if possible, ditch that credit card of yours because that small plastic card is the ultimate temptation to splurging more than you can really afford. If you can do that, I assure you that the next one would be as easy as how disciplined you are.

3. Save as much as possible. One of the best strategies when it comes to saving is Save before you Spend which means you take a portion of your paycheck and Save First and Immediately like as soon as you get that paycheck of yours. The best place to put that allotted money is on a separate savings account that is only for depositing and should minimize withdrawals as possible. By this, pledge that you won't get any spending money on that account and it would be better if it is in a passbook account than ATM because an ATM can be very much accessible anywhere and anytime when you have that itch to spend.

4. Start it Now.  I believe in you the moment that you click on this blog and pursuing yourself to educate it financially. That means you are aware of what you want and that is Financial Freedom. Start Saving and Start the road to Financial Freedom!
